VST Installation Service Policy

This policy describes how PluginXpert handles remote DAW, VST plugin and Kontakt library installation requests.

Eligibility Review

Before confirming service, we may check the operating system, processor type, RAM, free storage, DAW version, plugin format, installer source and license status.

Supported Assistance

  • VST2, VST3 and Audio Unit installation paths
  • Compatible DAW plugin rescanning
  • Kontakt library folder and location guidance
  • Common permission, validation and architecture errors
  • Supported Windows and macOS configuration

Not Supported

  • Cracked, pirated or unlawfully distributed software
  • License bypassing or protection circumvention
  • Unsupported operating systems or hardware
  • Requests that require access to unrelated private data

Before the Session

Back up important files, close private applications, keep valid installers and license information ready, and ensure a stable internet connection. Do not share passwords in chat.

During Remote Assistance

The customer must approve remote access and may end the session at any time. Installation work is limited to the confirmed requirement.

Service Completion

Where practical, completion includes checking whether the supported software opens or appears in the selected DAW. New issues outside the original scope may require separate review.
